Es ist schon der geradezu lyrisch anmutende Name, der bei Valer Barna-Sabadus aufhorchen lässt. Es ist aber natürlich die Faszination seiner Stimme, die einen fesselt, wenn der aus Rumänien stammende Countertenor die Musik der großen Komponisten des Barock zu voller Blüte entfaltet und mit Werken von John Dowland den wohl bedeutendsten Liedkomponisten der Spätrenaissance feiert.
